    General Summary:

    Zwicker is presently seeking a Hearing Coordinator/Scheduler with experience in a fast-paced environment to join the team in our Florida office located in Deerfield Beach.

     

    The Hearing Coordinator/Scheduler will be responsible for assisting attorneys in managing hearing schedules, coordinating court appearances with Attorney calendars, and assisting in other areas of support to prepare cases for upcoming hearings.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate all hearing scheduling within the counties of: Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe
    • Communicate with county court systems to coordinate hearings and appearances with Attorney schedules
    • E=file and e-serve pleading via Florida Courts E-Filing Portal and eCourtesy
    • Assist Attorneys in preparing all cases for upcoming hearings
    • Manage Incoming/Outgoing Mail for department
    • Sort, organize, and file documents
    • Properly record information, including ensuring account is in correct / accurate status.
    • Process and maintain checks in accordance with the Check Accountability Policy.
    • Comply with all applicable standard operating procedures set forth by the office.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Managing Attorney or Office Manager

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence
    • Previous experience in a law firm
    • Collections and/or litigation experience
