    Position Summary:

    Zwicker & Associates, P.C. is looking for a Judgment Processor to join our Finance Department. The Judgment Processor is a detailed oriented person with the ability to analyze and accurately process court awarded judgments while following specific state, client and company guidelines. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to analyze large amounts of data and effectively identify and clearly communicate issues with the management team.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Process court awarded judgments accurately and timely by posting specific information about the judgment to the debtor’s account in the Company’s recovery management system
    • Follow specific state and client guidelines while processing judgments
    • Audit and review judgments posted systematically
    • Reconcile balances of individual accounts in the Company’s recovery management system to balances obtained in court awarded judgments, and balances maintained by clients
    • Research and process account balance adjustments and communicate results
    • Report key metrics to management and others
    • Support other ad hoc financial requests as required

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Associates degree or higher in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required
    • Ability to work as a part of a team.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to manage priorities and meet commitments
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Solid Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
    • AS-400 / RMS experience a plus.
    • High School/GED/equivalent

     

    Strongly Preferred Skills:

    • Collection experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of the FDCPA and State Consumer protection Laws
